Electric Boarding Company COVID-19 Update
Here at Electric Boarding Company, we want to treat our customers in the best way possible. Due to COVID-19 there has been a large demand in the amount of orders and calls.
We will give you an update on where our current operations are below.
1. Call volumes are very high and there is no guarantee you will be connected
If you would like to place an order over the phone, email support@electricboardingco.com and we will give you a call at a convenient time. Live chat is currently operating normal from 9am-10pm CT M-F and 10am-6pm on weekends. Email will continue as normal.
2. There are some delays for shipping times on certain products and we are doing our best
We want you to have the best buying experience possible. Unfortunately at this time, our communication is backlogged and we are trying our best to serve you. Please be aware our company is under a large amount of pressure placing orders and coordinating shipping with our suppliers. Patience for shipping times are much appreciated.
3. Delays with shipping due to COVID-19 are from delays at US customs
Our manufacturers need to order products from overseas back into the US. Currently at US customs there are delays at the border to check and clean every package. This has caused an extreme delay in supply chain for all US products. Especially for those coming from overseas.
4. Delays on Electric Bike Shipments
While e-bikes have been the biggest product in the US during lockdown, we have seen a phenomenal number of orders from people looking to avoid public transport and get their first e-bike! This is a wonderful initiative to stay safe. However the nature of such high volume of demand, has caused some brands to be delayed and we appreciate your patience in this matter.
5. Remote Work - Stay Safe
At EBC, we are currently working remotely and doing our best to stay safe and help you all from our remote locations. We intend to ensure full safety of our staff until we can return to an office environment, where we can work together as a team once again.
We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time. We want all of our riders to enjoy the thrill of riding your own personal electric vehicle. We will get through all of this together in this great country we live in.
