Why We Love the Evolve GTR Series

The Evolve GTR electric skateboard collection (both Carbon and Bamboo) are certainly the competing longboards with Boosted’s Stealth e-board model. However, both models vary in style and in board decking, giving off a different rider feel.

The Evolve GTR Series, boasts 2 options for board decking. The Evolve Bamboo model and the Evolve Carbon model. With the bamboo deck offering more flexibility to carve, the Carbon (rider’s opinion), is tailored more to urban jungles, with a little more resistance for those looking for tighter lanes and a sturdier feel for bumps and cracks in the road. Though we always recommend riding on safe, well paved roads for safety reasons both the Evolve GTR models are well suited for off-road combat. Boasting AT tire options, or a 2 in 1 model, you can hit the streets or beast the dirt!

The Boosted Stealth is Boosteds best-selling e-longboard model. Unlike Evolve’s dual deck option, Boosted’s Stealth is almost as expensive and remains a little shy when it comes to versatility. The Boosted Stealth is built purely for street riding with PU Wheels and has a standardized composite e-board deck. Though it’s 5 ride modes and hill climbing power boasts great assets to the model, the Evolve GTR is certainly the rider’s choice for versatility, ability to combat off-road, and of course quality control.

Why We Love the Evolve Stoke

While Boosted’s Mini X was a customer favorite e-board, Evolve’s Stoke also features a great rider’s choice, but both in their own style.

With a narrower nose and feel, the Evolve Stoke and thee Boosted Mini are very different electric skateboards. They’re difficult to compare with the Evolve’s flexible bamboo/fiberglass board deck compared to the Boosted’s deep dish composite deck.

The Evolve’s rear kick tail also features a stable platform for riders when travelling at high speed. The Boosted Mini’s board deck does boast a grippy and stable sticky grip tape allowing for maximum control in comparison to Evolve’s wooden ply decking.
